Cream high-gloss cabinets, dark granite counters and white square floor tile appear in the before photo of this kitchen. The new kitchen has white raised panel cabinets with crown moulding and brushed brass pulls. Pale stone counters with soft gold veining continue up the wall as a full backsplash. A light taupe island sits in the middle, with stainless appliances around it, including a gas range under a slim hood, a stacked pair of wall ovens and a French door fridge beside a tall pantry. Light wide plank flooring replaces the tile, and pot lights run across the ceiling.
Running the counter material up the wall means fewer grout lines to clean behind the sink and range. Stacking the ovens at counter height also saves bending down to check on food.
