Walk-in showers
Swap the tub for a shower you'll use every day
Most of the tubs we take out were barely used. We replace them with a walk-in shower: frameless glass, a built-in niche or bench, and a floor sloped to a linear drain. Every shower is fully waterproofed behind the tile, and we can make it curbless so there’s no step at all.

Frequently Asked Questions
Still have questions?
How much does it cost to turn a tub into a walk-in shower?
It depends on the size of the shower, the glass and the tile. A walk-in glass shower costs a little more than a new tub, and a curbless shower a little more again. Use the estimator on this page for a rough range.
Can my shower be curbless (no step)?
In most homes, yes. We recess or slope the floor so water runs to a linear drain, and waterproof the whole area.
How long does a tub-to-shower conversion take?
Usually 1 to 2 weeks on site, after you choose tile and glass.
Should I keep one tub for resale?
If you have young kids or plan to sell soon, keeping one tub in the house is a good idea. Converting the ensuite tub is common and popular.
Is the shower waterproofed?
Yes. Every shower gets a waterproof membrane behind the tile and a properly sloped floor.
Do I need a permit?
Not usually, if the drain stays in place. Moving plumbing may need one, and we handle it.
