About this project
A vaulted ceiling and a wide opening to the front room frame this kitchen, and the during photos show work underway at that opening. The finished kitchen has white high-gloss flat cabinets, including tall pantry units, an over-the-range microwave and a white marble-look backsplash. The island has a charcoal base, a white counter with grey veining, an undermount double sink with a pull-down faucet and stool seating. Clear glass pendants and a round cage fixture hang above, beside a skylight. Grey wood-look plank flooring runs through the space, and a stainless French door fridge sits at the end of the run.
A wide opening lets the kitchen share light from the front windows and the skylight. Putting the sink in the island keeps whoever is washing up facing the rest of the room.
