About this project
This bathroom began with a small shower stall behind a framed door, a grey counter and dark floor tile. During the work, the shower area was opened to the studs. Now a walk-in shower runs across the end of the room with a frameless glass panel and door, white marble-look wall tile, a recessed white niche with a shelf, a square brushed nickel rain head and a handheld on a slide bar. Polished white marble-look tile covers the floor. A grey shaker vanity with a white counter, a brushed nickel faucet, a backlit mirror and a four-light fixture with white shades complete the room.
Taking the shower across the full width of the room makes it much easier to move in than the old stall. A backlit mirror adds soft light at face level for shaving and makeup.
