About this project
Subfloor panels cover the concrete in the during photos of this basement, with the older dark cabinets still in place. The finished level has grey plank flooring through the main room and bedroom. A long L-shaped run of cherry-toned flat cabinets with an open shelf has a white counter with grey veining, an undermount sink and under-cabinet lighting. The bathroom has a shower with dark grey marble-look walls, a sliding glass door, a recessed niche and a linear drain, plus a white vanity with a veined counter and a backlit mirror. The stair is finished in grey with a white rail.
A subfloor over the concrete helps the finished floor feel warmer and more even underfoot. A backlit mirror gives even light at the sink, which helps in a basement bathroom.
