Honey oak cabinets, a laminate peninsula and beige tile appear in the before photo. The new kitchen has light grey shaker cabinets with long bar pulls, with tall pantry cabinets on either side of a window fitted with white shutters. White counters with grey veining cover the perimeter and an island that holds an undermount stainless sink, a pull-down faucet and the dishwasher. A dark green-grey hexagon tile with marble veining forms the backsplash, and dark grey marble-look tile covers the floor. Stainless appliances include a French door fridge, a range and an over-the-range microwave, with pot lights above.
Tall pantry cabinets around the window keep storage close without blocking the light. With the sink and dishwasher together in the island, cleanup happens in one spot facing the room.
